Form Editor Properties
Use this dialog to configure how the form editor works.
General
Use this sheet to set the editor options.

| Auto size | If checked the height of the editor is adjusted automatically to fit the form. | ||||||||
| Highlight untranslated text | If checked the untranslated strings are shown in red color. | ||||||||
| Show row status |
If checked row status of the item is shown with a dot in the same way as corresponding row status in the translation grid:

| Auto zoom | If checked and a form would not fit to the editor area the form is zoomed. | ||||||||
| Can reduce | If checked heights and widths of visual components can be reduced compared to the original values. | ||||||||
| Clip children to the client area of parent | If this is checked, the children outside of their parent client are will not be shown. | ||||||||
| Mark inherited components | If this is checked and a component is inherited from the parent form a small icon will indicate that it is a inherited component. | ||||||||
| Mark read only components | If checked every component that has been set to Read Only will be marked by a small icon. | ||||||||
| Read only | If checked puts the form editor to Read Only state. You can't move or resize any component. | ||||||||
| Stretch controls automatically by text | If checked and the localized text is longer or taller than the original text Sisulizer grows the width and height of the controls such way that the whole text fits into the control. |
Bounds
Use this sheet to specify how the resized controls are shown.
Mark Bounds
If checked editor shows colored boundaries around components if size and/or position properties have been changed. Boundary colors are applied with the following cases:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Less than original | Localized value is less than the original value. Default color is red. |
| Equal as original | Localized value equals to the original value. Usually this happens when you first move a control and then you move it back. Default color is green. |
| Greater than original | Localized value is greater than the original value. Default color is blue. |
Frames
Use this sheet to specify how frames will be shown.
Mark Frames
If checked editor shows colored boundaries around frames. You cab specify used color.
Grid
Use this sheet to set the grid settings.
Grid
Specifies the grid options. Possible values are:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Display grid | Displays dots on the form to make the grid visible. |
| Snap to | Automatically aligns components on the form with the nearest grid line. You cannot place a component "in between" grid lines. |
Grid size
Specifies the grid size. Possible values are:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| X | Sets grid spacing in pixels along the x-axis. Specify a higher number to increase grid spacing. |
| Y | Sets grid spacing in pixels along the y-axis. Specify a higher number to increase grid spacing. |
Toolbar
Use this sheet to customize how the toolbar of the form editor looks like.
Options
Determines the toolbar options.
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Visible | If checked toolbar is visible. If unchecked toolbar is not shown. |
| Show Captions | Determines whether text captions are displayed on tool buttons. |
| Show Hints | Determines whether the control displays a Help Hint when the mouse pointer rests momentarily on the control. |
Icon size
Determines the icon size.

| Small icons | If selected toolbar uses small icons. |
| Large icons | If selected toolbar uses large icons. |
Icon layout
Determines where the image or text appears on the speed button.
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Left | The image appears near the left side of the button |
| Right | The image appears near the right side of the button |
| Top | The image appears near the top of the button |
| Bottom | The image appears near the bottom of the button |
